I’m Dave and I starting working for Xanga in July. My main
task here is to code new amazing features! Anyways, I’ve been
working on a new upload tool and that should be launched soon, so enjoy!
My dream Xanga feature would be the ability to protect each post for different people. Say I wanted to have a post that only my husband could see I could check his name for that post. Next post – protect for my only my best Xanga pal to see.

Welcome Dave!! I would love to be able to have a second list for protected postings, that way I can have an “elite” protected group, so to speak, since all my postings are protected.

Hello, Dave. Thanks for the multiple photo uploading feature. I’m looking forward to being spoiled by the new features you’re coding. And if you’re taking requests, I’d also like a second protected list. Take care, man.
1) I suggest that xanga should allow users tat dont hav xanga ( or me and others with because I don’t like loggin in just to comment people lol ) to comment on xanga but they must require a name and maybes e-mail and website such as livejournal and sconex or thefacebook. Its roughly similiar to livejournal’s but im sure u can improve it to make it better than what they have in livejournal ( otherwise it will be like copying lol ). Some people may not like people that don’t log in to comment because they might not know who they are so you might gave our fellow xangers the option of allowing people without xanga to comment them or not.
2) I found many people like to put one entry at a time ( latest one )and hide the rest so there won’t be a huge bunch of entries in their xanga. Instead of making every single entry to make it private or protected or delete them , how about a feature to show one entry ( usually the latest one ) in the webpage and hide all the rest.

Hello Dave. Since you have such a simple xanga name, I’m assuming, like me, that you have been a xanga member almost from the beginning. Either that or the xanga gods let you have a disused old xanga account. I bet there are a lot of terrific names that are no longer being used. I think it would be nice if a new member wants a name of a xanga account that has been in disuse for maybe two years that they can get it. oh, well… I meant only to welcome you and thank you for the new photo feature.
