  • Six Weird Things

Xinergy, Vikas, and John tagged me, so here are some weird things about me:

    • I enjoy dangerous activities such as riding a fixed gear bike in the streets of New York.  Some related interests include giving people who are hailing cabs high-fives and skitching (grabbing onto a car and leeching their gas powered energy).
    • I love eating apples with hot sauce.
    • I am addicted to receiving packages in the mail.  Sometimes I order stuff online just so it comes in the mail.
    • If I’m ever in the office on the weekend and there’s nobody else here, I crank up the music and rock out.
    • I know how to knit.
    • I want to compete in a buffalo wing eating contest, I think I could do pretty well.

For those of you that I tagged, post 6 weird things about yourselves.

  • Wonder if they have Buffalo Wild Wings in New York City… Blazin’ Challenge is quite blazin’.

  • Knit me a pair of socks and I’ll make you a fresh hot sauce apple.

  • I already answered it.  Don’t you read my blog?!  GOSH~!

  • Fixed wheel bike in NYC – I highly respect that. Unfortunately skitching is a bit harder, too.

  • The pirate Xanga banner at the top of your page is absolutely amazing.

  • apples and hot sauce? any particular hot sauce that goes best with apples? red vs. yellow apples?

  • I dunno man, 4 and 6 are pretty weak on the weirdness scale. I think you owe us a couple more.

  • Apples with hot sauce? Hmmm… I ought to try that some time. *I* don’t know how to knit. I do know how to crochet, but never really found a good use for it…

  • P.S.
    You’re weird!

  • mine weren’t weird at all! i was too enamored that you tagged me, and all i got was write a list of things. anyway, thanks for that.

  • heh well i did three weird things if that’s all right

  • I love getting things in the mail! When i was a little kid I would mail myself letters because I loved getting them a day later. I was a weird kid. And I wasted postage.

  • oh…. my….. gosh….. *laughs hysterically while rolling on the floor*  ;o)

  • I am running the USO fundraiser again. It is $10 to send a care package to the troops. If you are interested please email me at my Avon address MelsAvon4U@gmail.com. If you know anyone else who might be interested, please forward this message to them.

    Here’s how it works.
    You pay $10
Avon sends a care package to a soldier via the USO containing essential items (deoderant, sunscreen, soap…..)
USO recieves a donation of $4 from Avon PER CARE PACKAGE.
You will get a postcard thanking you for your support

If you would like to make your donation online, Please go to http://www.youravon.com/mhaney and register. To place your order use item #112-487

Thanks, and don’t forget to pass this message on!
