Xanga Video
Some of you probably have been wondering what this Xanga Video is and how to get it on your site. We are currently beta testing Xanga Video. Only premium users will be able to upload videos for this beta but we will be opening Xanga Video to everyone very shortly!Enjoy!

Hi, Dave. New things of note regarding videos.
- I do not seem to have the option to change the ‘rating’ after a video’s been uploaded.
- Can ‘rating change’ be included in the batch edit operation options?
- Despite having disabled comments on all my videos, the comment enabled icon still displays
If I come across anything else, I’ll let you know.

From the Video Manager page, the link to the Xanga Help goes to “http://help.xanga.com/video.htm”, which renders a 404 error. Chris said the link should be “http://help.xanga.com/videos.htm” (plural).
I’m getting a “This video is not available” message on any Xanga videos I try to watch.

Cool!!! Thanks for doing this! The only problem would be that I don’t like seeing the “other videos you might enjoy” thing afterwards. I would kinda like to be able to have my videos in my video blog, but not have them around for anyone to find them that easily. Maybe you could opt out of it or something?

Hey guys, you are all doing an awesome job with the photoblogs and tags and everything, but this is the real burning question: Will there ever be a modification that will allow non-Xanga members comment on our sites? I can see from my footprints that dozens of readers trot across my blog from many different cities and countries, and I would love to hear from them and have them engage with discussions on the site. But they can’t! It’s tempting to move to LJ for that reason… but tell me there will be open commenting someday. : (
Due to the continuous concern with child safety, I believe you should have to be eighteen before posting on xanga, and if you’re under eighteen, you can have a xanga site, but all posts and comments have to be moderated.
i’m not sure where i should direct this question, buuuut…. i thought i saw some sorta notification that the ability to save all your posts was a feature on xanga premium, but it’s not listed as a feature on the xanga mainpage link. if this is a feature, i’m so going premium.
